Swansea includes one university and part of another. It also contains various colleges and schools, although most non-heraldic badges or logos.
The University College of Swansea was founded in 1920 as a constituent college of the University of Wales. It was re-branded as "University of Wales Swansea" in 199? and became an independent as Swansea University in 2007.
The University of Wales Trinity St.David originated in Carmarthen and Lampeter, but has been a partly Swansea university since merging with Swansea Metropolitan University in 2013.
